Oasis San Luis ROCKED, literally, as Let's Rock choir launched its Christmas concert series this past weekend. The venue was buzzing with holiday spirit, and from what I hear, the choir delivered a proper festive kick-off for the season. Seems like everyone, including the singers themselves, had a blast.
Let's Rock Christmas Cancelled! Fans Devastated, W...
Let's Rock didn't hold back, apparently taking the audience on a musical sleigh ride through a whole heap of Christmas classics. The setlist was packed with rock and pop anthems from some serious heavy hitters. We're talking the likes of Paul McCartney, Phil Spector, Nat King Cole (a Christmas *must*!), and even a dash of Steeleye Span for those who like a bit of folksy festive cheer. Then there's George Michael, Sia, Elvis (because who doesn't love Elvis at Christmas?), and, to really get the party going, a touch of Boney M. Talk about covering all the bases!
If you missed out on the first show, don't fret! You've still got three more chances to catch Let's Rock spreading Christmas joy. They'll be performing on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th. And the best part? The concerts are FREE! Just remember to book your spot directly with the venue – spaces are bound to fill up quickly. If you want to find out more, or have any questions, you can contact Sarah via WhatsApp or a good old-fashioned phone call.
But the Christmas spirit doesn’t stop with the concerts. Looking ahead to the New Year, Let's Rock is actively recruiting new members to join their ranks. And judging by the enthusiastic feedback, it's a pretty welcoming bunch. One recent recruit, after their first rehearsal, couldn't stop raving about how much fun they had. They mentioned leaving with "a huge smile" and being impressed by the lovely group of people, a far cry from other choir experiences they’d had. So, if you're looking to add some music and camaraderie to your life in 2024, it sounds like Let's Rock might just be the ticket.
