Tarkov Players FINALLY Escape! What Happens Next Will SHOCK You!
Gaming News 04 December 2025

Well, folks, it seems like pigs really *can* fly. After years of brutal raids, countless lost kits, and a general sense of existential dread, someone has actually… escaped from *Escape From Tarkov*. I know, I barely believe it myself, and I've been following this game since its early days. I remember when getting out with a scav backpack full of duct tape was considered a win. Times have changed.

Tarkov Players FINALLY Escape! What Happens Next W...

The streamer Tigz is now officially recognized as the first player to successfully extract themselves from the game's hardcore reality, a feat acknowledged by Battlestate Games themselves. They even gave him a shout-out on Instagram. It's pretty rare for a developer to acknowledge something like this so explicitly, highlighting just how significant this achievement is considering how difficult it is to get anywhere in the game, let alone extract.

You can see the proof for yourself; Tigz shared video evidence. Now, I haven’t watched the whole thing (43 minutes is a long time in Tarkov terms, and I'm still trying to get my daily breadcrumb scav run in), but the internet is abuzz. The main takeaway is that it *is* possible. After all this time, after all the wipes, the endless debates about ammo types and meta builds… there’s an ending. Who knew?

Of course, this wouldn’t be *Escape From Tarkov* without a healthy dose of controversy. The full release, while celebrated by some, has also reignited the ongoing firestorm surrounding DLC access, especially the whole PvE situation. Remember when everyone who dropped serious cash on the Edge of Darkness edition was promised all future DLC? Well, Battlestate Games initially tried to walk that back, gating the PvE mode behind a separate, eye-watering $250 purchase. Yikes.

The community understandably lost it. I mean, imagine paying $150 for what you thought was a definitive edition, only to be told you need to shell out even *more* money for a core game mode. It didn't sit right with anyone, and thankfully, the developers listened (after a bit of initial stubbornness, I might add). They eventually apologized and promised Edge of Darkness owners access to the PvE content. A win for the community, even though it took a bit of a fight to get there.

So, congratulations to Tigz for finally escaping. It gives the rest of us something to aspire to, even if my personal goal remains simply surviving long enough to find a can of condensed milk. And to Battlestate Games: maybe focus on delivering on your promises *before* celebrating someone finally beating your notoriously difficult game. Just a thought. Now, back to the raid.
