Alright, Warzone fans, get ready to drop into something new! The latest season, tied to *Black Ops 7*, has unleashed Haven's Hollow, and it's… well, it's got potential. Think of it as a "greatest hits" remix of *Black Ops 6*'s Zombies, but with a fresh coat of pre-apocalypse paint. We're talking West Virginia quaintness, nestled deep in the Appalachian hills before things went completely sideways. If you're a Zombies veteran, you're going to get some serious déjà vu.
Warzone's Haven's Hollow: Secrets REVEALED! You Wo...
The size? Somewhere between Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep, which feels just about right. Not too sprawling, not too claustrophobic. Haven's Hollow boasts nine named points of interest (POIs), and from what I've seen so far, they offer a decent mix of combat styles. I've only had a few rounds so far, but the map already feels like it has a good flow.
Now, for the Zombies faithful among us, Haven's Hollow is basically a prequel. You’ll immediately recognize the church, that creepy mansion, the motel where things probably went down, and the bowling alley where someone definitely had a bad time right before the outbreak. But they've taken those familiar areas and expanded them, bolted on new zones like a Lumbermill, a Riverboat (because why not?), and a Train Station. It's a clever way to reuse assets while still making it feel (mostly) fresh.
So, let's break down the POIs a bit. That Mansion? Oh, you know *exactly* which one I'm talking about. Richtofen's pad. T-Rex fossil and all. You can clamber all over it. The Pond? It's a pond. Not a lot of cover, so keep moving. The Train Station is flat and open, perfect for those long-range engagements. Then you have the Barn, which is surprisingly central and offers some nice elevated spots. Don't forget the Research Center, home to Haven's Lab - a multi-level loot-filled playground, if you can survive long enough to actually loot it.
And finally, we get to Main Street. This is where the nostalgia hits HARD. The video rental store, the ice cream shop... these are locations that have been burned into the memories of zombies players. Expect some intense close-quarters fighting here, because, lets face it, everyone is going to want a piece of this.
Overall, Haven's Hollow feels like a solid addition to the Warzone rotation. The map reuses familiar elements from previous games but still manages to feel reasonably fresh. I'm looking forward to spending more time exploring all of its nooks and crannies, mastering the sightlines, and getting some dubs. Time will tell if it has the staying power of Rebirth or Fortune's Keep, but for now, it's a welcome change of scenery.
