December Reading List REVEALED! You Won't Believe #3!
Books & Literature 05 December 2025

As the last leaves fall and the holiday lights twinkle, it's that time of year again – time to reflect on the books that kept us company through November and, even more excitingly, to plan our December reading lists! The air smells like pine needles and… well, maybe a touch of impending deadlines, but let's focus on the books, shall we?

December Reading List REVEALED! You Won't Believe ...

With 2025 rapidly fading into the rearview mirror and the 2026 Read Harder Challenge announcement practically breathing down our necks (seriously, how does time fly so fast?), now's the perfect opportunity to squeeze in those last few books. You know, the ones you've been meaning to get to for ages. The ones that keep staring at you accusingly from your TBR pile.

But before we dive headfirst into December's potential reads, let's take a quick detour down memory lane. What books stole your heart in November? What titles completely absorbed you, whisking you away to another world (or at least providing a welcome distraction from family gatherings)? I always find November a tricky reading month, to be honest. Between travel and holiday prep, sometimes just finding the time to crack open a book feels like a major accomplishment!

One of the Book Riot team recently shared their November reading roundup, which included a fascinating mix of podcast reads, book club picks, and some purely personal indulgences. It's a testament to the sheer variety of reading material out there, isn't it? And it just goes to show how different everyone's reading tastes can be. What I find utterly enthralling, you might find completely snooze-worthy. And that's perfectly fine!

Speaking of book clubs, one particular title – Taylor Jenkins Reid's "Atmosphere: A Love Story" – apparently induced some serious waterworks among a certain book club. That's the power of a good shared reading experience, right there. A book can spark conversation, forge connections, and, yes, even elicit a few tears (or maybe a whole lot of tears – no judgment!).

So, spill the tea! What literary treasures did you unearth in November? And more importantly, what books are currently vying for your attention in December? Are you aiming to finish any of the Read Harder Challenge tasks? Perhaps you're finally tackling that massive historical fiction novel you've been avoiding? Or maybe you're just looking for some lighthearted holiday fluff. Whatever your reading plans, we want to hear about them! Head down to the comments section and share your literary aspirations. Let's inspire each other and maybe even find some new reading buddies along the way.

Just a friendly reminder to keep things civil and respectful in the comments. We want to create a safe and welcoming space for all book lovers, regardless of their reading preferences. Happy reading, everyone, and may your December be filled with captivating stories and cozy reading nooks!
