Happy New Year, gamers! And what better way to kick off 2026 than with a fresh batch of games hitting Xbox Game Pass? Microsoft hasn't wasted any time, delivering a solid lineup to keep us glued to our screens this January. It’s a mix of returning favorites and some pretty recent releases, so there should be something for everyone.
Game Pass January 2026: You Won't BELIEVE What Gam...
Right off the bat, we've got *Brews & Bastards*, the twin-stick shooter that’s exactly as bonkers as it sounds. Imagine blasting through hordes of drunken demons – yeah, it's that kind of game. If you’re looking for something a little more…elegant, *Mio: Memories in Orbit* is a hand-crafted Metroidvania that looks absolutely stunning. And for the younger crowd (or the young at heart), you can help the ponies in *My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery*. It's nice to see a variety of genres represented right from the get-go.
But the real heavy hitters are yet to come. With *Resident Evil Requiem* looming on the horizon next month, now's the perfect time to revisit *Resident Evil Village*. Get your scares in before the next chapter drops! And for those yearning for a bit of intergalactic adventure, Ubisoft's *Star Wars Outlaws* is arriving on Game Pass. Live out your smuggler fantasies in a galaxy far, far away – what’s not to love?
Microsoft typically staggers these Game Pass additions, dropping titles in two waves throughout the month. So keep your eyes peeled for even more announcements coming soon. I’m personally hoping for a surprise or two – maybe an indie gem nobody saw coming?
Of course, as new games arrive, some have to depart. Sadly, January 15th marks the exit for titles like *Neon White*, *Road 96*, and *The Ascent*. If you haven't experienced these yet, you've got a few days left to dive in. *Neon White's* high-speed demon slaying is worth the price of admission alone, in my opinion.
Here’s the complete rundown of what’s coming and when: *Brews & Bastards* and *Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition* are available *now* for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. January 7th brings *Atomfall*, *Lost in Random: The Eternal Die*, *Rematch*, and *Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition* (Premium only for that one). Then on January 8th, it's time for *Final Fantasy*, followed by *Star Wars Outlaws* on January 13th. *My Little Pony* arrives on January 15th, and finally, *Resident Evil Village* and *Mio: Memories in Orbit* round out the month on January 20th.
All in all, it's a pretty strong start to the year for Game Pass. Happy gaming, everyone!
