Alright, Call of Duty fans, buckle up because Season 1 Reloaded for Black Ops 7 and Warzone is about to drop, and it's packing a serious punch. Mark your calendars for January 8th, because that's when the digital gates swing open, unleashing a fresh wave of content across all platforms.
Black Ops 7 Release Date LEAKED?! Warzone Update D...
While Activision is keeping some details close to the vest (gotta keep that hype train rolling!), we know to expect a substantial update. We're talking four new multiplayer maps to frag on, revamped points of interest in both Haven's Hollow Resurgence and, yes, even Verdansk in Warzone! Seems like the classic map just won't stay down for long. And for those of you who like your gaming with a side of undead, the Zombies mode is getting a hefty injection of fresh content, too.
Speaking of Zombies, the Astra Malorum Round-Based Zombies map is inbound, along with the Exit 115 Survival map. Activision is also promising "reward-filled weekly challenges" to keep you hooked. New weapons, modes, camos, and events? You betcha. It seems they're really trying to keep the undead hordes interesting this time around. Gotta admit, I'm intrigued.
Multiplayer fiends, listen up. Season 1 Reloaded is bringing a whole slew of new maps to the core experience. We're getting the neon-drenched, high-rise rooftops of Yakei, which sounds like a visual treat. But the real nostalgia bombs are the return of two iconic maps from Black Ops history: Meltdown and Fringe. Those names alone should be enough to get veteran players dusting off their favorite loadouts.
But wait, there's more! For the Zombies die-hards, the Zarya Cosmodrome location from Ashes of the Damned is being repurposed as a Survival map. Plus, a Directed mode is being added to the Astra Malorum map, letting players team up and tackle the main story quest together. Sounds like a great way to get some coordinated zombie slaying in with your buddies.
We also know about two new world events, the most fleshed out of which so far is the Wraith Wing event. Apparently, some seriously advanced Guild aircraft, suspiciously armed with cloning tech, are targeting JSOC Operators. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to disable these flying menaces by hitting their weak spots. Think David vs. Goliath, but with more bullets and less slingshots.
Oh, and two new weapons are confirmed to be unlockable in Season 1 Reloaded. Because, you know, you can never have too many ways to eliminate the competition. But the absolute *wildest* news? A Fallout crossover is happening. Seriously! Microsoft is uniting Fallout and Call of Duty for a crossover event. A teaser shows silhouettes of characters from the upcoming Fallout TV series. The post reads, "Okie dokie — stay focused, stay alive. [Fallout TV show] is coming to Call of Duty in Season 01 Reloaded." I am legitimately curious to see how this plays out!
