Okay, Broadway fans, buckle up because this is going to be a wild ride! The Off-Broadway hit *Titanique*, the musical comedy that dares to ask, "What if Céline Dion was actually *there* on the Titanic?", is heading to the Great White Way, and the casting news is, well, titanic! Producers just dropped a bombshell: Jim Parsons of "Big Bang Theory" fame is joining the cast.

Titanique Cast SHOCKER! This Trio Just Signed On!

Yes, you read that right. Jim Parsons, a name synonymous with comedic brilliance, is returning to Broadway. But he’s not alone! Joining him on this voyage of laughter and questionable historical accuracy are the powerhouse vocalist Deborah Cox, known for her incredible range and soulful performances, and Frankie Grande, whose infectious energy and stage presence are sure to electrify the St. James Theatre. Constantine Rousouli, one of the show's co-creators, is also onboard, adding another layer of authenticity (or, you know, delightfully absurd inauthenticity) to the production.

The ship – or rather, the show – sets sail with previews starting March 26th, officially opening on April 12th. It's a limited engagement, running through July 12th, so you'll want to grab your tickets quickly. Trust me, this isn't something you want to miss. I caught a performance of *Titanique* Off-Broadway last year, and it was legitimately one of the funniest things I've seen on stage in ages. The combination of Céline Dion's incredible music catalog and the utterly bonkers reimagining of the *Titanic* story is pure comedic genius.

Marla Mindelle, who absolutely slays as Céline Dion, is reprising her role, thank goodness. And the creative team is stellar: Tye Blue (*RuPaul’s Drag Race*), another co-creator, is directing, bringing his signature flair to the production. Ellenore Scott (*Ragtime, Funny Girl*) is choreographing, which guarantees some seriously impressive and likely hilarious dance numbers. I'm already picturing the "My Heart Will Go On" sequence – I’m betting it will be… memorable.

For those unfamiliar, *Titanique* basically posits that Céline Dion is narrating what *really* happened to Jack and Rose that fateful night. She uses her iconic songs to, shall we say, "enhance" the story. Think "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "To Love You More," all recontextualized through the lens of a hilariously unreliable narrator. It's campy, it's over-the-top, and it's absolutely brilliant. Eva Price, a Tony Award winner known for producing shows like *&Juliet* and *Oklahoma!*, is at the helm, so you know the production values will be top-notch. Get ready, Broadway. *Titanique* is coming, and it's going to make a splash!
