January. The month of resolutions, detox diets, and... surprisingly good PC game deals. Let's face it, the post-holiday gaming release schedule tends to be a bit of a wasteland, making it the perfect time to catch up on titles you might have missed in the pre-Christmas rush. And wouldn't you know it, Fanatical has stepped up to the plate with some tempting bundle offers.
PC Gamers Rejoice! New Year Deals You Can't Afford...
They've rolled out three new "build-your-own" bundles: the January 2026 Platinum Collection, the New Year 2026 Collection, and something called the Triple Pack deals. The premise is simple, and frankly, quite appealing: pick and choose the games you want from a curated list, and the more you grab, the deeper the discount. Every game key is redeemable on Steam, which is handy, and crucially, most are Steam Deck Verified. This means you can take your new bargains on the go. Smart thinking, Fanatical!
The Platinum Collection is where things get interesting, at least in my opinion. Fanatical curates a fresh batch of games each month for this, and the January selection looks pretty solid. If you snag three or more games, you're looking at a price of $3.33 per title. Five or more drops that to $3 apiece, and if you go all in with seven or more, each game is a steal at just $2.85. I've had my eye on "Turnip Boy Robs a Bank" for a while now - that delightfully oddball roguelite heist game. "Next Space Rebels," the sci-fi crafting game, also sounds intriguing. And for those who fancy themselves a bit of a Keanu Reeves, "Phantom Squad" promises some fast-paced, top-down shooting action. I might just have to take advantage of that myself.
Now, if the January Platinum Collection doesn't quite tickle your fancy, don't despair! Fanatical is also still running their December 2025 "Best Of" Platinum Collection for a few more weeks. This one boasts some bigger names, like "RoboCop: Rogue City," "Fallout 76," and the mind-bending "Paradise Killer." Worth a look if you're after something a bit more mainstream.
And let's not forget the Build Your Own Triple Pack. While I haven't had a chance to fully dissect the game selection for this one yet, it apparently offers a good range of genres. So, there you have it. If you're looking to bolster your PC gaming library without breaking the bank this January, Fanatical's bundles are definitely worth checking out. Happy gaming!
