Percy Jackson Finale SHOCK! Star Reveals All – What Happens Next?!
Movies & TV Series 24 January 2026

Okay, Percy Jackson fans, buckle up! The second season of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" just wrapped up on Disney+, and let me tell you, the ending left me, and probably you, reeling. While Percy and his crew managed to save the day (again!), it seems they might have inadvertently opened a Pandora's Box of trouble. And according to Percy himself, Walker Scobell, things are about to get a whole lot darker.

Percy Jackson Finale SHOCK! Star Reveals All – Wha...

The big reveal in the finale? Chiron suspects Kronos, the big bad Titan, is looking for a champion to take on the Olympian gods. And the prime suspect? Thalia, daughter of Zeus and, well, a tree for a while. This sets up some serious internal conflict for Percy, as Scobell explained in a recent interview. It sounds like Percy's starting to question the very gods he's risking his life for. "It just kind of changes things a little bit for Percy and the way that he views fighting for Olympus," Scobell said. That's putting it mildly!

But what about Thalia? Does Percy trust her, even with the possibility of her turning to the dark side? "She’s made her decision," Scobell said. "I think Percy trusts her to make the one that’s right." It seems Percy's putting his faith in his friends, prioritizing their safety above all else. A true hero move, if you ask me.

Scobell also hinted at a major shift in tone for the upcoming third season, which will adapt "The Titan's Curse." He emphasized a move towards more mature themes and a story geared towards an older audience. That's understandable, considering the source material gets progressively darker as the series goes on. Remember the bittersweetness of the books? I'm hoping they can strike that same chord on screen.

The young actor also mentioned the growing chemistry between him and his co-stars, Aryan Simhadri (Grover) and Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth). It’s got to make a difference when the actors genuinely connect, and I think that shows on screen. This kind of camaraderie will be crucial as the stakes get higher and the challenges get tougher in Season 3.

So, what can we expect from the next season? Scobell pretty much confirmed that it will be significantly darker and more mature than the previous two. "The end of Season 2 really sets up the tone for Season 3," he teased. "It’s written for a little bit of an older audience." Considering the source material and the groundwork laid in Season 2, it sounds like we're in for a wild ride. Personally, I can't wait to see how they tackle "The Titan's Curse." It's arguably the best book in the series, and if they do it right, Season 3 could be the best one yet. Get ready, demigods!
