Berlin just got a whole lot more flexible, thanks to Haley Lu Richardson and company. The Berlin Film Festival photocall for the dystopian comedy "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die" wasn't your typical, stiff red-carpet affair. Oh no, this one involved headstands, high kicks, and enough energy to power a small city.

Haley Lu Richardson & Michael Peña Stun Berlin! Yo...

It all started with Richardson, known for her roles in "White Lotus" and "Love At First Sight," deciding to inject some, shall we say, *athleticism* into the proceedings. She fearlessly attempted a headstand, much to the delight (and probably slight bewilderment) of her co-stars: Sam Rockwell, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chaudhry, and director Gore Verbinski. I mean, who expects that at a film festival, right?

But the fun didn't stop there. Michael Peña, never one to shy away from a good time, and Verbinski himself, joined in the shenanigans. The result? A series of mock martial arts moves and impressively (or perhaps hilariously) executed high kicks alongside Richardson. It was less a formal photo opportunity and more like an impromptu, incredibly energetic play session. You could tell they were having a blast.

The film itself, "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die," sounds equally quirky. Starring Rockwell as a "man from the future" tasked with saving the world from some vague, yet destructive, force, it’s exactly the kind of weirdness that Verbinski, the mind behind the original "Pirates of the Caribbean," excels at. It’s having its European premiere at Berlinale, so naturally, the cast wanted to make an impression.

And boy, did they! "That was one of the craziest and funniest photocalls I’ve ever seen in my whole life," exclaimed one German journalist, who witnessed the whole spectacle. Apparently, the energy carried over into the press conference afterward, where Richardson even offered to demonstrate her flexibility with the splits. Seriously, what a legend! She was then asked if the high-spirited atmosphere mirrored the mood on set. Makes you wonder what kind of craziness went on behind the scenes while filming.

It’s refreshing to see actors and directors let loose and have some fun. Hopefully, that infectious energy translates to the film itself. "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die" has certainly piqued my interest, and I suspect I'm not the only one. This is one movie I'll keep an eye on.
