Halle Berry's X-Men Confession: Singer Confrontation Was a "Great Day"?!

Halle Berry, our favorite weather-controlling mutant, is still dishing out justice, even off-screen. The actress recently recalled a particularly memorable moment from the "X2: X-Men United" set, and let's just say, it involved a verbal storm aimed directly at director Bryan Singer. Apparently, Singer's behavior wasn't sitting right with the cast and crew, and Berry, ever the hero, decided to step in.

Halle Berry's X-Men Confession: Singer Confrontati...

Now, we all know Berry's a powerhouse, both on-screen and off, so it's no surprise she took the reins. She didn't hold back, either. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Berry recounted telling Singer "just where to go and how to get there." I mean, can you imagine being on set that day? Talk about a mic-drop moment! She said, "Everybody was mad, but they all said to me, 'Halle, you go tell 'em,' because they knew I would." It sounds like everyone was ready for someone to finally speak up.

And it gets better. Berry didn't just give Singer a piece of her mind; she apparently felt so good about it that she "got on a plane and flew home with my X-Men suit on." Can you picture that? Flying high, both literally and figuratively, knowing you stood up for what's right. "I’m sorry, that guy deserved it," she added. Honestly, I'm kind of living for this story. We need more people like Halle Berry in the world, ready to use their platform to call out bad behavior.

Singer, for those who might not remember, directed the first two X-Men films, setting the stage for the entire franchise. He later returned for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "X-Men: Apocalypse." However, his career has been somewhat tumultuous, to say the least. He was eventually replaced as director of "Bohemian Rhapsody" amidst reports of conflicts with star Rami Malek, which is a whole other saga in itself. It seems there's a pattern here, wouldn't you say?

It's a shame that Berry didn't get to reunite with her X-Men crew for the upcoming "Avengers: Doomsday," but she's made it clear she'd be back "in a heartbeat" for future mutant adventures. And after hearing this story, I, for one, would love to see Storm back in action, both on and off the screen. Maybe she could give the Avengers a lesson in leadership – you know, just in case they need it. Regardless, hats off to Halle Berry for standing up for what's right. She's a true superhero.
