Gamers STUNNED! TT Games Slashes PC Requirements - Is Your Rig Ready?!
Gaming News 15 February 2026

Well, folks, it looks like the good people at TT Games have had a bit of a rethink when it comes to what you'll need to run their upcoming Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on your PC. Remember when they initially suggested you'd need a whopping 32GB of RAM just to hit the *recommended* specs? Yeah, that raised a few eyebrows (to put it mildly).

Gamers STUNNED! TT Games Slashes PC Requirements -...

Back in January, the initial announcement that a cool 32 gigs was the "recommended" sweet spot sent ripples through the PC gaming community. I mean, come on! Even graphically intensive behemoths like, say, Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which they themselves developed back in '22, only asked for a measly 8GB in its recommended configuration. The math just wasn’t mathing, as the kids say.

Thankfully, TT Games has now walked that back, issuing a statement over on Steam. "As part of our ongoing testing for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on PC, we have revised our recommended hardware specifications from 32 GB RAM down to 16 GB RAM," the statement reads. So, that’s a relief. Sanity prevails, it seems.

But here's the thing: even at 16GB, that's still a pretty hefty requirement for some. Especially when you consider what's happening in the RAM market right now. You might have heard, but reports are swirling about some serious instability, and an "unprecedented record-breaking surge" that has seen RAM prices almost *double* in the first six weeks of 2026 compared to the last quarter of 2025. Ouch. So, while the reduction is definitely a step in the right direction, it might still leave some budget-conscious Bat-fans feeling a little left out in the cold, Gotham-style.

We’ll keep an eye on this story as it develops, and hopefully, TT Games will continue to optimize the game for a wider range of hardware. Nobody wants to miss out on building Lego versions of iconic Dark Knight moments because their RAM isn't up to snuff. In the meantime, start checking those RAM prices – you might be in for a shock! Now, if you'll excuse me, I’m going to go price some RAM… just in case.
