Dacia is making some serious waves! The budget-friendly automaker just unveiled its revamped lineup in Nice, France, and let me tell you, it's more than just a fresh coat of paint. The Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Logan are all getting significant updates for 2026, promising a more modern, efficient, and frankly, more enjoyable driving experience.
Dacia's SHOCK 2026 Plan Revealed! What Will Happen...
Following the debut of the new Sandero and Sandero Stepway, Dacia is gearing up to launch the updated Jogger and Logan in Turkey pretty soon. We're hearing the Jogger is slated to arrive in March, with the Logan following a couple of months later in May. This is a quick turnaround, showing Dacia's commitment to getting these new models into the hands of consumers.
One of the most exciting changes is under the hood. The Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Logan are now rocking a more powerful 120 hp engine. This new 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged Bi-Fuel engine is a definite step up, delivering improved performance. What's really interesting is that it combines the benefits of LPG with an EDC automatic transmission for the very first time. That smooth, responsive 6-speed dual-clutch can even be controlled with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel – a feature you wouldn't necessarily expect in this segment.
And speaking of LPG, Dacia is making it even more practical. They've bumped up the LPG tank capacity from 40 to 50 liters, which translates to a 20% increase in range when running on LPG for the Sandero Stepway and Jogger. This means a total range (LPG + gasoline) of up to a whopping 1,500 kilometers! That's a major selling point for anyone looking to save money at the pump, especially with fuel prices constantly fluctuating.
It's not just the LPG models getting attention. The Sandero and Logan also benefit from a power bump, with their 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine now producing 100 hp, up from 90 hp. This is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The Jogger continues to be available with the TCe 110 gasoline engine and a 6-speed manual, while the Sandero and Logan offer the TCe 100 gasoline engine with a 6-speed manual as well, offering a range of options for different driving preferences.
But the changes aren't just mechanical. Dacia has also given the exterior a significant facelift. The Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Logan are the first models to feature Dacia's inverted "T" shaped LED headlight signature. It's a bold move that really sets them apart and emphasizes the brand's identity. At the rear, redesigned LED pixel headlights enhance the overall character. On the Jogger, the headlights now extend the line of the tailgate window for a cleaner look. I personally think this is a smart and stylish touch.
Overall, Dacia seems to be on a mission to redefine what a budget car can be. These updates are substantial, addressing both performance and aesthetics. With these revamped models hitting the market in 2026, Dacia is definitely one to watch.
