Royal Rage: Andrew Photo Stunt at Louvre Sparks Outrage!

Paris, France - A photograph of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has mysteriously appeared in the Louvre, courtesy of the activist group "Everyone Hates Elon." The image, a rather unflattering one, has reignited public discussion about the disgraced royal's past and present.

Royal Rage: Andrew Photo Stunt at Louvre Sparks Ou...

The photo, a Reuters image by Phil Noble, shows Mountbatten-Windsor looking, shall we say, less than his best in the back of a Range Rover following his recent arrest. You know, the kind of picture that makes you wince a little. The organization hung the picture in the famous gallery on Sunday morning, according to sources.

Adding insult to injury, a plaque below the photo reads "He's Sweating Now." A rather pointed reference to that 2019 BBC interview with Emily Maitliss. If you recall, Mountbatten-Windsor infamously claimed he couldn't sweat due to a medical condition, which he used to deny Virginia Giuffre's claim that he was sweating while dancing with her at a London club. You can't make this stuff up.

For those who need a reminder, Giuffre, a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's horrific crimes, alleges that she was trafficked to Mountbatten-Windsor by Epstein and forced to have sex with him when she was just 17. While Mountbatten-Windsor denies any criminal wrongdoing, he did settle a lawsuit with Giuffre back in 2022 for a significant sum, reportedly £10 million or more. The settlement felt like a tacit admission of guilt to a lot of people, even if it wasn't technically.

Everyone Hates Elon has a history of pulling these kinds of stunts, often targeting wealthy and powerful individuals. They seem to enjoy ruffling feathers, and they're pretty good at it. Think of it as performance art with a political message, I suppose.

Remember last September? They displayed a large photo of Donald Trump and Epstein outside Windsor Castle ahead of Trump's state visit. And prior to Jeff Bezos' wedding in Venice, they unfurled a banner in Piazza San Marco that said, "If you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax." They certainly have a flair for the dramatic.

Mountbatten-Windsor's ties to Epstein have, of course, had serious consequences. He stepped down from royal duties in 2019, and Queen Elizabeth II stripped him of his royal duties in 2022. Even King Charles has taken action, removing his brother's designation as the Duke of York and his remaining titles. He can no longer be referred to as a prince or His Royal Highness. It's a steep fall from grace, to say the least.

Now, there are renewed calls to remove Andrew from the royal line of succession altogether. British politicians and government officials are even signaling support for legislation to make it happen. It's a complex issue, as it would require the agreement of all 15 Commonwealth members. Still, the fact that it's even being discussed shows just how far Mountbatten-Windsor's reputation has plummeted.
