Mallorca is gearing up for a fantastic International Women's Day celebration, and I, for one, am really looking forward to it! The "Women Who Mean Business" event is hitting the Terreno Club on Sunday, March 8th, and it promises to be a vibrant day of community, connection, and empowerment.
Mallorca Celebrates Women's Day: But This Business...
It's brilliant timing, of course, coinciding with International Women's Day itself – a day dedicated to recognizing the social, economic, and cultural triumphs of women worldwide. This Mallorca event is aiming to shine a spotlight on the incredible female founders, creatives, and community leaders right here on the island. Even better? It’s all happening while raising funds for a really vital local cause.
The whole thing is being put together by Glow & Reform Wellness Studio in partnership with Elevation Marketing, and they’ve clearly put a lot of thought into it. From 9 am until early afternoon, the schedule is packed with activities reflecting the diverse roles women play – as entrepreneurs, mothers, mentors, and all-around changemakers. It’s ambitious, but sounds like it will work.
Attendees can expect a really dynamic mix of sessions running concurrently. We're talking wellness classes for both teens and adults, a panel discussion cleverly titled "Women Building Businesses," a "Strong as a Mother" workout designed for mums and their babies (adorable!), and even a 5km run led by The Movement Lab. Talk about covering all the bases! It really sounds like they are trying to empower women with options to choose from.
The idea is to blend physical empowerment with professional inspiration, which ties in perfectly with this year’s International Women’s Day theme of accelerating action toward gender equality. It's not just about celebrating achievements, but actively pushing for progress.
And it doesn't stop there. Beyond the workouts and insightful panel discussions, the event will also feature light refreshments, a charity raffle boasting prizes from women-owned brands (love that!), and plenty of open networking opportunities to encourage collaboration and support. It's all about building each other up, which is exactly what this day should be about.
Crucially, all the profits generated from the event will be donated to SOS Mamas, a fantastic charity that supports mothers and families in need across Mallorca. By linking entrepreneurial empowerment with giving back to the community, the organizers are really highlighting the deeper meaning of International Women’s Day. It's about more than just accolades; it’s about contributing to progress and showing solidarity.
Whether you're a seasoned founder, a freelancer just starting out, a busy mother, or simply someone who wants to show their support, the goal is the same: to leave feeling energized, connected, and inspired. On a day when the world acknowledges women’s contributions, Mallorca is making sure that celebration is matched with real, meaningful impact. I can't wait to be there!
