March is shaping up to be a massive month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers! Microsoft is kicking things off with some seriously heavy hitters, most notably the addition of Cyberpunk 2077. And I mean, who *isn't* excited about that, especially given its incredible redemption arc? But it's not *just* Cyberpunk, so let's dive into all the goodness coming our way.
Cyberpunk 2077 Blows Up Game Pass! What's Coming N...
Right now, if you're a subscriber, you can already jump into Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Initial impressions are strong, and it’s certainly in the running for game-of-the-year buzz. We're also seeing Final Fantasy 3 get some love, offering classic RPG action for those who want to revisit a gem. Plenty of gameplay to keep you busy there, for sure.
But wait, there's more! For those seeking something a little different, the narrative adventure "to a T" – which was previously only available on Game Pass Ultimate – is making its grand entrance onto Game Pass Premium this week. And if you're a racing fan, get ready for EA Sports F1 25, also arriving this week. And hot on its heels is Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf, the sequel to the popular indie darling. I, for one, am stoked for that one; the original was gorgeous.
Okay, back to Cyberpunk 2077. This is the one everyone's been waiting for, and it drops mid-month. It's been a wild ride for CD Projekt Red, but they’ve really turned things around. From a buggy, almost unplayable mess at launch in 2020, it's transformed into, arguably, one of the best games of the decade. If you held off playing it initially, now's your chance! And for all you Hollow Knight: Silksong fans, rejoice! It's hitting Game Pass Premium this month, too. Although, to be fair, it's already accessible on Game Pass Ultimate, so some of you might already be knee-deep in it.
Of course, there's always a bittersweet moment when games leave the service. Sadly, six titles are slated to depart in March. However, the new additions *more* than make up for it, in my opinion. And don't forget, Xbox usually throws in a few more surprises later in the month, so stay tuned for those announcements. Overall, it's looking like a fantastic month to be a Game Pass subscriber. Happy gaming!
