Porsche is poised to make a significant leap into the electric SUV market with the unveiling of its all-electric Cayenne on November 19th. The physical unveiling will follow shortly after, taking place at the prestigious Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai on November 22nd and 23rd.

Porsche's Next Cayenne Chapter: Unveiling November...

While the full details remain under wraps until the official unveiling, Porsche has already teased some impressive specifications, promising a vehicle that blends blistering performance with luxurious comfort and cutting-edge technology. The electric Cayenne will boast a formidable powertrain delivering over 1,070 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque. This translates to exhilarating acceleration, capable of launching from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds and achieving a top speed of 250 km/h.

Range anxiety should be a thing

Range anxiety should be a thing of the past, as the Cayenne Electric will feature a 113 kWh battery pack providing a WLTP-estimated range exceeding 600 kilometers. Furthermore, Porsche is addressing charging concerns with DC fast charging capabilities of up to 400 kW, allowing for a 10% to 80% charge in a mere 15 minutes. Adding to the convenience, Porsche is also introducing an industry-first wireless 11 kW charging option.

The interior of the Cayenne Electric reflects Porsche's commitment to technological innovation and luxury. Drawing inspiration from the Taycan, the cabin is dominated by a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a sweeping, curved OLED screen called the Flow Display. This expansive display integrates essential controls, including climate settings, and represents Porsche's "largest screen ever fitted in one of its cars." An optional 14.9-inch screen for the front passenger further enhances the digital experience.

Beyond the technology, the Cayenne Electric promises a premium experience with features like heated armrests, soft-touch materials, and an intelligent panoramic roof that can switch between transparent and opaque at the touch of a button.

Despite the arrival of the all-electric model, Porsche assures enthusiasts that gasoline-powered and plug-in hybrid versions of the Cayenne will continue to be offered. However, details regarding the engine specifications for these variants remain undisclosed. The Cayenne Electric is expected to arrive in dealerships in early 2026, marking a significant milestone in Porsche's electrification strategy and solidifying its position in the evolving luxury SUV market.
