It's interesting to see how they're trying to win back players. For instance, the most recent update included the 2013 Ford FG Falcon V8 Supercar – a sweet ride, and free for everyone. That's a nice gesture. They've also given the GT4 class a complete makeover, which should make those races more engaging. I've always been partial to the GT4 cars in racing sims; they strike a good balance between accessibility and challenge.
