Togg's T10F Electrifies Turkish Auto Market, Surges to Top of EV Sales

Turkish automotive manufacturer Togg is making waves in its home market, with its T10F sedan model topping electric vehicle sales in October and securing a place among the top ten best-selling cars overall. The impressive performance highlights the growing adoption of electric vehicles in Turkey and Togg's rising prominence as a key player in the automotive industry.

According to data released by the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), the T10F achieved 2,532 sales in October, eclipsing other electric models and landing in seventh place among all car sales. This strong showing pushed the T10X, Togg's other model, into second place in the EV category with 1,623 units sold. Trailing behind were KG Mobility (Ssangyong), Volvo, and KIA, while Tesla recorded no sales for the month, having not yet launched its Model Y in the Turkish market.

The T10F's success is particularly noteworthy

The T10F's success is particularly noteworthy given its recent launch in Turkey on September 15th. The model quickly gained traction, becoming the second best-selling electric car in September with 1,194 sales. By the end of October, total T10F sales reached 3,726, solidifying its position as a significant contender in the EV market.

While Togg celebrated its electric vehicle leadership, the Volkswagen Taigo secured the overall top spot as the best-selling car model in Turkey with 4,111 units sold. The Renault Megane Sedan and Renault Clio followed closely behind, claiming second and third place respectively. Togg's T10X ranked 15th on the overall list with its 1,623 sales.

Adding to the excitement, Togg has recently introduced the dual-engine 4More versions of both the T10X and T10F, promising enhanced performance and safety. These models boast a powerful dual-motor structure producing 435 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The 4More editions, which have received a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, are now available for order via Togg's digital platform, Trumore.

Beyond the domestic market, Togg is also expanding its presence in Europe. The company began sales in Germany, its first European market, in September, delivering its first smart devices to customers. Togg is offering both the T10X and T10F models in Germany and recently held a test drive event in Stuttgart, further solidifying its commitment to the European market. The company's success in Turkey and its expansion into Europe signal a bright future for the burgeoning automotive brand.
