Horace Grant's 'Legends In Session': Get Ready for...

Chicago basketball legend Horace Grant is adding a new title to his impressive resume: television host. Just before being inducted into the Chicago Bulls Ring of Honor on November 22nd, the four-time NBA champion is set to launch "Legends in Session with Horace Grant," a TV series filmed and premiered in the city where he first rose to prominence.

The show, slated for a mid-2026

The show, slated for a mid-2026 premiere, promises a unique blend of sports, storytelling, and philanthropy. The inaugural season will feature 13 hour-long episodes, each showcasing Grant in conversation with a roster of basketball icons, including former teammates, rivals, and friends. Confirmed guests include Scottie Pippen, Stacey King, B.J. Armstrong, Vernon Maxwell, Charles Oakley, Gary Payton, Penny Hardaway, and his brother Harvey Grant.

More than just a talk show, "Legends in Session" aims to delve into untold stories and celebrate the legacies of these basketball greats. Grant will formally induct each guest into the show's "Hall of Legends," adding a touch of ceremony to the intimate conversations.

The series will be executive-produced by Wally Lockard III of Urban Grind TV and filmed at Urban Grind Studios in Chicago this winter. Viewers can expect to find the show on cable television in Chicago and distributed nationally and internationally through Urban Grind TV's streaming and cable partners, including Roku and Apple TV.

A charitable component is also central

A charitable component is also central to the show's concept. During each episode, Grant and his guest will sign two pieces of memorabilia on camera. One item will be auctioned off after the episode airs, with proceeds benefiting the guest's chosen charity. The second item will be a jersey signed by every guest throughout the season, which will be auctioned off during the finale to support a cause close to Grant's heart.

"There are so many stories we’ve never had the chance to tell, and this show will allow us to celebrate what we’ve lived through, to give back while we do it, and to inspire the next generation to build on what we started," Grant said. "At its heart, 'Legends in Session' is more than a talk show—it’s a movement that bridges sports, storytelling, and service."

Grant, known for his trademark goggles and tenacious play, enjoyed a stellar 17-year NBA career. After his championship run with the Bulls, he played key roles for the Orlando Magic, Seattle SuperSonics, and Los Angeles Lakers, securing his fourth championship with the Lakers in 2001. His new venture promises to be another winning play, offering fans a rare glimpse into the lives and experiences of basketball's most revered figures.
