Chinese automaker Chery has officially launched its redesigned TIGGO7 compact SUV in the Turkish market, marking a significant step in the company's expansion strategy. Available from November 15th, the TIGGO7 is being offered in Prestige 4x2 and a newly introduced 4x4 variant, with a starting price of 2,199,000 Turkish Lira (TL). To further incentivize purchases, Chery is also providing a special financing offer for commercial customers, including a loan opportunity of 400,000 TL with a 0.99% interest rate over a 6-month period.

The TIGGO7 aims to capture the attention of Turkish consumers with its refreshed design, powerful engine, and comprehensive safety features. The vehicle boasts a 145 horsepower 1.6-liter turbo engine and has achieved a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Key Features and Performance

The new TIGGO7 prioritizes both performance and safety. The 4x4 version offers seven distinct driving modes – Standard, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Off-Road – designed to optimize the vehicle's performance across various terrains. The intelligent torque distribution system ensures confident handling in both urban environments and more challenging off-road conditions.

Safety and Technology

Chery emphasizes family-oriented safety in the TIGGO7. It features a high-strength steel body (60%), seven airbags (eight in the 4x4 version), a new knee airbag, and smart electronic child locks. Furthermore, the vehicle incorporates 19 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), enhancing overall driving safety.

Beyond safety, the TIGGO7 is equipped with a range of modern and premium interior features. These include a combined 24.6-inch digital display, wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, 50W wireless fast charging, a large 1.1 m² panoramic glass roof, 64-color ambient lighting, heated and cooled seats, and a generous luggage capacity ranging from 484 to 1305 liters. The exterior design is equally striking, featuring a new diamond-textured grille, Wildflare LED taillights, and 19-inch Stiron wheels.

The 1.6 TGDI turbo engine produces 145 HP and 275 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is rated at 7 liters per 100 km for the 4x2 model and 7.9 liters per 100 km for the 4x4 version.
