‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week 10 Recap: A Stunning Elimination Proves No One Is Safe

Okay, *Dancing With The Stars* fans, buckle up because last night's semi-finals was a rollercoaster! Let's dive into the sparkly, sequined world of Week 10, where the remaining six couples paid tribute to the one and only Prince. Two dances per couple meant a whole lot of purple rain… and a whole lot of pressure. (And, yes, there's a spoiler ahead about who went home, so consider yourself warned!).

Shock Elimination Rocks 'Dancing With the Stars' a...

First up, we had actress Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten kicking things off with a foxtrot to “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” Elaine, bless her heart, was practically bursting with joy just to be in the semi-finals, especially after a season riddled with… well, let's just say it hasn't been smooth sailing. And you could see that energy translate on the dance floor! Derek Hough called it "beautiful," which is high praise coming from him. But the judges wanted more fire. They scored a respectable 27 out of 30.

Then Whitney Leavitt, of *The Secret

Then Whitney Leavitt, of *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* fame, and Mark Ballas took on the cha-cha to “1999.” They earned a perfect score last week, so expectations were high. The judges were split. Carrie Ann Inaba critiqued Whitney’s focus on technique, while Derek Hough vehemently disagreed, calling the performance "awesome!" Personally, I thought it was solid; a slight dip from last week, perhaps, but definitely not deserving of Inaba's minor nitpicks. The judges landed on a 29 out of 30.

After that, reality TV star Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach delivered a tango to “I Would Die 4 U.” Dylan has been on a real upswing lately, and Daniella was laser-focused on fixing his posture. The judges noted improvements, and while Inaba pointed out some mistakes, overall, they were pleased. 27 out of 30.

Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa were next with a jive to “Raspberry Beret.” Jordan has been hungry for that perfect score, and she brought the heat with her second jive of the season. Carrie Ann called it the "best performance so far," and I couldn’t disagree! There were a few timing issues, but the energy was infectious.

Stay tuned for the rest of the recap and the SHOCKING elimination! Seriously, I didn’t see it coming.
