Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Remake LEAKED! Release Date SOON?!
Gaming News 21 November 2025

Ahoy, mateys! It looks like those rumblings about an Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake might be more than just salty sea dog tales. Ubisoft just dropped their delayed financial report, and nestled within the spreadsheets and projections is a tantalizing hint that Edward Kenway could be raising the Jolly Roger again sooner than we thought.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Remake LEAKED! Releas...

Specifically, Ubisoft laid out their upcoming game releases, all slated to arrive before the end of their current financial year. Mark your calendars, folks, because that deadline is March 31st, 2026. Now, the report mentions a few titles by name: "Anno 117: Pax Romana," "Assassin's Creed Mirage Valley of Memory update," and even the "Avatar Frontiers of Pandora From the Ashes expansion" to coincide with the new movie. Plus, there's talk of the "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" remake, "Rainbow Six Mobile," and "The Division Resurgence." But then... there's that "unannounced title."

And here's where things get interesting. That "unannounced title" also showed up in Ubisoft's investor presentation, but it was represented by a big, blank box. A blank box screaming "REMAKE!" to anyone who's been following the whispers about Black Flag's return. It's almost like they're playing coy, but the cat's pretty much out of the bag at this point, isn't it?

Of course, nothing's official until Ubisoft makes the announcement themselves. Remember all the "Beyond Good & Evil 2" hype? Still waiting on that one, and that was revealed years ago. But, adding fuel to the fire, French gaming outlet Jeuxvideo reported back in September that the modern-day sections of Black Flag have been nixed for this remake. Some fans might not be happy about that, but honestly, I always found those parts a bit of a drag anyway. Gimme the pirate life!

Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic. "Black Flag" was a high point for the Assassin's Creed franchise, a swashbuckling adventure that perfectly blended naval combat with the series' signature parkour and assassination gameplay. To see it rebuilt for modern consoles with updated graphics and potentially tweaked gameplay is incredibly exciting. The Caribbean is calling!

So, the big question: if this Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake does indeed set sail before April of 2026, will you be hoisting your colors and joining Edward Kenway on the high seas once more? Let me know in the comments – I'm already sharpening my cutlass!
