Terrifier Star's SHOCKING New Move Stuns Fans! What's Next?!

Okay, so, Catherine Corcoran? You might recognize her face (or rather, her screaming face) from the "Terrifier" movies. She's taking a big leap – and I have to say, a pretty impressive one – by launching her own production company, FareStream Pictures. And from what I'm hearing, it’s not just some vanity project; it sounds like she's got some serious plans.

Terrifier Star's SHOCKING New Move Stuns Fans! Wha...

FareStream Pictures, according to the press release, is all about creating "bold and emotionally resonant" projects, with a real focus on giving voice to complex female characters and other groups that often get overlooked in Hollywood. That’s a mission statement I can definitely get behind. We need more of that, plain and simple.

The company already has a pretty packed slate. First up is "By His Hand," which is an adaptation of William R. Perry’s occult novels. Perry himself wrote the screenplay, which is always a good sign. Scout Taylor-Compton, who many will remember from Rob Zombie’s "Halloween," is directing, which is another interesting choice. I'm curious to see what she brings to the table directing that, considering her acting work in horror. Lee Waddell is producing. Sounds like a solid team.

But wait, there’s more! Corcoran is also developing "Hera," a live-action series that's a reimagining of Greek mythology. And she's not just starring; she created the series and is the lead writer. That's ambitious, but if she can pull it off, it could be huge.

Beyond that, FareStream is also tackling an adaptation of Julia Bartz’s novel, "The Writing Retreat," partnering with Evan Spiliotopoulos, the guy who wrote "Charlie’s Angels" and "The Pope’s Exorcist." And they’re collaborating with Veritas Entertainment, who are known for projects like "A Complete Unknown" and "Vikings." She's co-producing a feature with Jackson Stewart too. It sounds like she’s really making moves in the industry.

On top of all this producing stuff, Corcoran is also going to be in a few projects. She’s in and executive producing “Best Friends Forever,” and she’s starring in “Big Baby,” which is directed by Spider One and has Cher and Chaz Bono as executive producers. That alone sounds...interesting. In a good way, I hope!

And get this – she’s even expanding into comics! Partnering with some DC veterans to write two anthology comics, including a reimagining of "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes." Okay, now that's just pure fun. What an interesting career path. It's a nice pivot that many people don't get to attempt.

But here's what I found most refreshing: Corcoran is making a point of prioritizing safe sets, transparent accounting, and fair profit sharing. She said, "Creativity and ethical practice can, and must, coexist for art to thrive." That’s a sentiment that should be shouted from the rooftops. After so many stories of bad behavior and exploitation in the industry, it's great to see someone actively building a company on a foundation of respect and fairness. Hopefully, FareStream Pictures can be a real force for good in Hollywood.
