NFL Power Rankings SHOCKER! Which NFC Team Will DESTROY the Playoffs?
Sports 25 November 2025

Alright folks, buckle up, because we're already staring down Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season. As always, it's time for my weekly power rankings, and let me tell you, some teams are looking legitimately scary as we head towards the playoffs, while others… well, let's just say they're playing for pride (and maybe a better draft pick). And speaking of draft picks, the Shedeur Sanders era is officially underway in Cleveland, though it didn't exactly inspire confidence in the Browns faithful. More on that later.

But first, let's talk about the Patriots. I know, I know, it feels weird even writing that. Not since the Belichick-Brady dynasty have they been relevant in these rankings, but here they are, surging after their ninth straight win. They're breathing down the Rams' necks for the top spot. Who would've predicted that? *Super Bowl LX odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook, if you're feeling lucky... or maybe just delusional.

Down in Cleveland, things are less rosy. The Browns got thoroughly outplayed by Sanders and the Raiders, leading to the predictable firing of their offensive coordinator. Honestly, I'm wondering if Pete Carroll's seat is getting warm too. The talent is there, but the results just aren't.

Speaking of teams with quarterback questions, the Washington Commanders are in freefall. They're battered, bruised, and heading for their seventh straight loss after the bye week against Denver. Unless someone finds a magic potion, they're done. Then there are the Giants. They managed to lose *another* game after holding a double-digit lead. It's almost impressive, in a sad, pathetic sort of way. The firing of defensive coordinator Shane Bowen was about as surprising as the sun rising in the East.

Let's move on to some glimmers of hope, shall we? Jacoby Brissett is making the Cardinals' offense watchable, but let's be honest, the Jaguars practically gifted them that win with turnovers. And J.J. McCarthy is struggling in Minnesota, throwing picks like it's his job. Maybe the Vikings were a bit hasty in letting Darnold and Jones go. Just a thought.

Bryce Young is back to struggling for Carolina after a brief resurgence, and Cousins' first start for Atlanta was… well, typical Cousins. Uneventful. The Dolphins, however, are quietly putting together a nice run. If they can handle the Saints and Jets after their bye, Mike McDaniel might just save his job. Finally, let's talk about the Texans. Their defense is elite, but the offense is… inconsistent. They're essentially half a dangerous team. Will that be enough to get them to the playoffs? Maybe. But they'll need more than just defense to make any noise once they're there.
